The Building Community Health Grant is available for groups and charities to develop services in the community that can help improve the health, wellbeing and care of adults living within the East Riding of Yorkshire. July has seen 4 applicants receive over £11000 of funding between them and we want to encourage more charities to apply. Grants are available up to £3000 for groups of all sizes and can be used for a range of needs. This could be a newly formed group that needs some funds to get their idea off the ground, or a charity with lots of experience in their field, looking to develop a project. The money can be used to purchase equipment, cover expenses, pay for training and many other costs. Successful applicants include a walking football group, a riding group supporting veterans and a church group supporting isolated people in the community. We offer training and support at our funding workshops or one to one sessions, to help you apply for this grant and answer any funding queries.
