After an incredible 14 years with HEY Smile Foundation, we’re announcing that Tessa Wray will be leaving Smile to begin a new chapter with the team at Pace Communications.
Fourteen years is a huge part of Smile’s story, and Tessa has been there through so much of our growth, change and development.
She hasn’t just seen the organisation evolve… she has helped shape it.
From building partnerships and developing projects to generating ideas, opening doors and helping lead some of our biggest moments, Tessa’s contribution can be seen right across Smile and across the communities and organisations we work alongside.
We feel incredibly lucky to have had 14 years of Tessa’s ideas, energy, humour, creativity and dedication.
Jamie Lewis MBE, Chief Executive of HEY Smile Foundation, said:
“Working alongside Tessa through so many of Smile’s biggest moments has been an absolute privilege. When someone has been part of an organisation for 14 years, they become part of its fabric, and that is certainly true of Tessa.
She has challenged us, brought ideas to the table, built relationships and helped turn countless conversations into projects and opportunities that have made a genuine difference.
Smile today is a very different organisation from the one Tessa joined 14 years ago, and she has played a significant part in shaping that journey. We have been incredibly lucky to have had her commitment, creativity and belief in Smile for all that time.
On a personal level, I’ll miss having Tessa around enormously. I’m incredibly proud of everything she has achieved with us, and I’m equally excited to see what she does next.”
There are projects, relationships and pieces of work across our region that have Tessa’s fingerprints all over them, and Smile simply would not be the organisation it is today without her contribution.
While we’re incredibly sad to see her go, we’re also excited for what comes next as she joins the team at Pace Communications.
Tessa leaves with our enormous thanks, our very best wishes and a legacy at Smile that will last long after her final day.
Thank you, Tessa, for 14 incredible years. ❤️
We’ll miss you enormously; and we can’t wait to see what you do next.
