As we celebrate Trustees Week, HEY Smile Foundation would like to introduce our Chair, Trish Dalby.
Trish retired from her role as Deputy Chief Executive of Hull City Council, in 2019. She is a champion of Hull and the East Riding and of humanitarian causes.
Trish retired to be a hands-on grandparent, which she is!
Trish said: “I cherish the fact that my family had the benefit of being helped by others who gave their time, skills and kindness so freely when we needed it… so I see it as my responsibility to give back that kindness where I can. I am so lucky that I have the opportunity to give my time and hope that my experience and skills can be help others.
It is an absolute privilege to be a trustee alongside such great people who give their time to lead charitable organisations and work with their teams to deliver the charitable objects of the organisations with which we are involved. It’s also great fun and I gain so much how lucky am I ?!”
