Vital new facility A few years ago, Smile was tasked to put some much-needed chocolate on Sunshine House’s biscuit by finding the funding and expertise to refurbish five rooms and create a new forget-me-not room - a precious space for the family and their very poorly child to stay together, and at times, say their final farewells. This was an emotional task for everyone involved but with the help of the Sewell Group and their vast supply chain, a wonderful business committee and Help for Health we were able to deliver a £100k+ project for £18k (and a whole lot of elbow grease)! Smile has recently gone back to Sunshine House and is working on renovating their outdoor space with the help of MKM and volunteers from HSBC.
