A Brilliant Day on the Green Raises £4,005 for HEY Smile Foundation

Eighteen business teams came together for a memorable day of golf, fundraising and friendly competition at the Metro Bank Golf Day, raising an incredible £4,005 to support HEY Smile Foundation’s work across Hull and East Yorkshire.

Held at Cottingham Parks Golf & Leisure Club, the event brought together local businesses and supporters for a day that was packed with birdies, bogeys, banter and plenty of team spirit.

From the first tee shot to the final putt, players embraced the chance to enjoy the course while helping to make a positive difference to people and communities across the region.

Celebrating the winners

Congratulations to the teams who topped the leaderboard:

1st place: Forrester Boyd – Chartered Accountants
2nd place: The Clearance Zone
3rd place: Smailes Goldie

A big well done to all 18 teams who took part. The day was a wonderful example of the generosity, energy and community spirit of businesses across Hull and East Yorkshire.

A prize with plenty of excitement

One of the day’s standout moments was the Hole in One challenge, with Livingstone Motor Group generously sponsoring a fantastic prize: a car worth £30,000.

While no player managed to claim the prize this time, it created plenty of excitement and gave golfers something extra to aim for on the course. We are hugely grateful to Livingstone Motor Group for their support.

The £4,005 raised will help HEY Smile Foundation continue its work creating opportunities, supporting community activity and helping local people and organisations make a difference where it matters most.
