Meet Jaydon Nolan, Community Development Officer at HEY Smile Foundation
Jaydon joined our Community Development Team to support charities and community groups across the East locality – Beverley and Holderness.
In his role, Jaydon works directly with organisations to strengthen their foundations – providing guidance, tools and support to help groups operate effectively, stay compliant, and grow sustainably.
What it looks like in practice:
- Policies & procedures (safeguarding, data protection, volunteer agreements)
- Governance (trustee recruitment, AGM setup, charity registration)
- Funding applications (bid writing, budget templates, funder introductions)
- HR basics (volunteer management, basic contracts)
- Compliance (health & safety, insurance advice)
Recently Jaydon supported Molescroft Wildlife Network and one of their new partner groups with community engagement. He is also helping Oldroyds Corner develop policies and secured PPE from Mitsubishi Chemical Group.
If you run or volunteer for a charity or community group in Beverley & Holderness, please get in touch via our Community Development Team for practical help from HEY Smile Foundation – community@heysmilefoundation.org.
