The guest speakers will deliver a brief overview of their service and there will be networking opportunities for the delegates at the end of each session to arrange further communications. Lindsay Samson shall be delivering a basic level 1 safeguarding Adults and Children awareness presentation at the start of each session and the delegates shall be given the opportunity for further training dates and workbooks for their organisation volunteers to complete. Delegates shall receive a Certificate of Attendance at the end of the event. The event aims to develop the safeguarding awareness of front line staff in groups\, which may be in people’s homes or identify from conversations of potential safety referrals.

DESCRIPTION:This is a great opportunity to increase your awareness of safeguarding Adults and Children in your community and ask us any questions.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAt these events\, there will be representatives from HEY Smile Foundation\, Nat West community banking services\, Humberside Police and Humberside Fire & Rescue service. The guest speakers will deliver a brief overview of their service and there will be networking opportunities for the delegates at the end of each session to arrange further communications. Lindsay Samson shall be delivering a basic level 1 safeguarding Adults and Children awareness presentation at the start of each session and the delegates shall be given the opportunity for further training dates and workbooks for their organisation volunteers to complete. Delegates shall receive a Certificate of Attendance at the end of the event. The event aims to develop the safeguarding awareness of front line staff in groups\, which may be in people’s homes or identify from conversations of potential safety referrals.

We will also have the Prison Governor speaking about the role the prison can play through the practical skills they have within the prison and the potential of ex-offenders within the voluntary and community sector. \nSpeaker: Mandy Johnson \nMandy Johnson is the Founder and CEO of GreatCharitySpeakers.com. She was recently named the 2nd most influential fundraiser by the readers of Fundraising Magazine and one of the top 25 #SocialCEOs in the UK. DESCRIPTION:The popular local event sees teams racing their colourful carts of all shapes\, sizes and themes down the 450m ramp\, in an attempt to take home one of the coveted prizes. \nThe Humber Bridge Soapbox Derby is run by the Hessle Town Council in association with the Humber Bridge Board and co-ordinated by Smile to maximise charitable impact. \nRides\, trampolines and refreshments will be added into the mix again to create a great family day out for the teams and spectators. \nCorporate team entries cost £300 per team and all other entries £100. DESCRIPTION:The second Santander Swing When You’re Winning Golf Day knock-out qualifier is on 17th May 2019 at Grimsby Golf Club. \nTeams will be welcomed with refreshments and practice facilities. Play is Texas Scramble style with on course challenges.
