I AM Fund Celebrates 2026 Grant Awardees

The I AM Fund is proud to announce its first 2026 grant awardees, supporting five organisations delivering inspiring, inclusive and high-quality performing arts opportunities for children and young people across Hull and East Yorkshire. The latest round of grants will fund projects that place young people at the heart of creativity, helping to amplify voices, build confidence and open pathways into the arts for those who need them most.

The 2026 awardees – Coltman Area Community Association, Hull Truck Theatre, Humber Theatre Tech, She Productions and Welcome House – will deliver projects spanning professional theatre, technical skills training, community performance and creative storytelling. Together, they will help champion access, nurture local talent and celebrate the power of the arts to connect, empower and inspire the next generation of creatives.

The fund was made possible by a generous legacy gift from Audrey Mosey’s estate.

About the fund

The I AM Fund launched in 2019 through a gift in the will of Audrey Mosey, who died in 2018 aged 91. Audrey wanted a significant part of her estate to support good causes in the area she loved. Her passion for dance and the performing arts led to the creation of a fund in her honour – the Audrey Mosey Fund (I AM Fund). The grant panel includes representatives from HEY Smile Foundation, Gosschalks Solicitors and Audrey’s estate.
