Message from InKind Direct:

To all our charity partners,

As we all come to terms with living in a Coronavirus world, I want to recognise and thank you for all you are doing to support the most vulnerable in our communities. Everyone at In Kind Direct is committed to supporting your organisation as you face unprecedented challenges, possibly on a daily basis. We think the best way we can help is by maintaining a reliable supply of products, wherever you are working in the coming weeks. So, we have:

  • Spoken to our donor companies to keep on asking for the products you need. This includes cleaning and hygiene supplies, as well as goods to entertain those at home and to boost those feeling isolated or uncertain.
  • Increased our warehouse staff to do our best to get the high volume of orders out to you within ten working days. We’ve also got a great team making sure our online catalogue is updated with new arrivals.
  • Confirmed all our suppliers and couriers have robust plans in place so we can continue delivering orders.

How can we help?

We understand you might be facing the tough decision of whether to keep your building open. As your situation changes, we can help by delivering orders to an alternate address, so you can keep on working if your location changes. Just add another address when you place your order. We’ll confirm the change and get your orders out.

As well as our online catalogue, we work with an amazing group of partners to deliver extra savings which could be particularly useful right now. This includes fundraising tools with Directory of Social Change (use code IKD20 to save 20%), office and domestic supplies with Ryman, Robert Dyas and Office Depot, and vehicle hire to transport people safely with Enterprise UK.

To protect our staff, we have suspended the option to pay for orders by cheque. You can still pay by credit or debit card or by BACS. These are faster, more secure and crucially don’t rely on us being in our London office.

Please keep in touch if you have a need for particular goods or if your organisation is really struggling. We may be able to provide extra help or signpost you to other resources.  Get in touch with Charlotte, our Head of Charity Partnerships to find the best way we can support you.

Lastly, we are asking everyone to be mindful of keeping items in baskets, as this means others cannot access what they need. To keep the flow of orders going, please try to complete orders promptly wherever possible.

We are here and ready to keep on supporting your vital work however we can.

Rosanne
