HSBC AND SARGENT ELECTRICAL DEVIL’S KITCHEN RAISES £6000
HSBC and Sargent Electrical battled it out in Smile’s culinary competition, Devil’s Kitchen, at Mercure Hull Grange Park Hotel to raise a fabulous £6,000.
With incredible support from the staff at Mercure Hull Grange Park, the teams worked tirelessly to produce a stunning three-course meal and an incredible atmosphere front of house for their guests.
All food and service was provided by HSBC and Sargent Electrical staff, who swapped their day jobs for chef whites and aprons, in the name of charity. Over 70 guests attended and thoroughly enjoyed their evening.
Team HSBC went with the classic and elegant approach for their tables, with candlelit centerpieces and sparkles, while Team Sargent Electrical, turned the heat up and transported their guests to Hawaii, complete with a Hawaiian lei necklace given as they arrived.
This event was the first Devil’s Kitchen to be held at Mercure Hull Grange Park Hotel, Steven Newby, Sales Manager at Mercure Hull Grange Park said:
“The event went really well from our side, the team are really looking forward to the next one!”
Team HSBC and Team Sargent Electrical, have gone head to head in a Devil’s Kitchen in the past, with Sargent Electrical taking the win that time, however after a fabulous evening and a very close score, Team HSBC took the win for this event!
Laura Cox, Events Coordinator, at Smile, was elated with the event:
“Both teams have worked really hard over the day and it was great to see some friendly competition between the two teams. A huge well done to everyone who took part, to the winning team HSBC and a massive thank you to all of the guests for their generous donations!
“We can’t thank Mercure Hull Grange Park enough, for their help and support and we look forward to the next Devil’s Kitchen event with them in a couple of weeks.”
