THE ONE POINT AND NIPPON GOHSEI DEVIL’S KITCHEN RAISES £2500

The One Point and Nippon Gohsei battled it out in Smile’s culinary competition, Devil’s Kitchen, at Mercure Hull Grange Park Hotel to raise a fabulous £2,500.

With incredible support from the staff at Mercure Hull Grange Park, the teams worked all day to produce a stunning three-course meal and an incredible atmosphere front of house for their guests.

All food and service was provided by The One Point and Nippon Gohsei staff, who swapped their day jobs for chef whites and aprons, in the name of charity. Over 70 guests attended and thoroughly enjoyed their evening.

Both the teams were in the Christmas spirit with their themes. Team Nippon Gohsei went down the route of a white Christmas with white fairy lit Christmas trees as their centrepieces and Team The One Point had a more traditional feel with red and green handmade centrepieces, alongside handmade favours for their guests. Both teams welcomed their guests to the event with a glass of bubbly.

This was the second event to be held at Mercure Hull Grange Park Hotel, Sandeep Kaushik, General Manager at Mercure Hull Grange Park said:

“My team had a great time, especially Josh in the kitchen!”

This is first time The One Point and Nippon Gohsei have gone head to head, with Team Nippon Gohsei taking the win.
